EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS/PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
NEIGHBOR CARE BULLETIN – 11/03/2021

‘Charbonneau residents answered the call and the 2021 Shake Out drill was a big success! Overall, Charbonneau had 45% participation, 590 homes, an increase of 4% over last year. Considering residents who are working and traveling, that is a very positive participation percentage. Fourteen of our 15 HOA’s took part with some showing increases as much as 46%.

This annual drill is a great way for our community to practice how to best face a wide-spread emergency. It is also a timely reminder to check up on your personal emergency supplies like water, batteries and back-up chargers for your cell phone. Emergency lights for homes were the raffle prizes this year and 26 prizes of 2 lights each were awarded throughout the community.

The Emergency Preparedness/Public Safety Committee extends a very special thank -you to the 110 HOA Captains who make this drill a success and watch over our neighborhoods in times of any emergency. They are the heart of our efforts to protect the resiliency of our community. Way to GO Captains!
