Charbonneau Festival of the Arts will be back LIVE at Charbonneau June 3, 4 and 5. The festival opens Friday, June 3rd from 6-9 P.M. with the Opening Night Celebration in the new Activities Center. Small bites will be passed, and champagne will be poured to the sounds of guitarist Kevin Kerrick in the Hazel Glade Room, while the Silent Auction opens for bidders in the Kalapuya Room next door.
The Fine Art Gallery will debut in the Rec Room, while Student Art will be featured in the Lewis and Clark Rooms upstairs. The Event Center (formerly called the Clubhouse) will host a record number of Artisan Vendors and Artists selling their wares. While the Artisan Vendor Show will be open and free on Friday night and throughout the weekend, tickets are required to enter the Event Center for the June 3rd Opening Night Celebration, with free admission on the weekend.
Tickets go on sale May 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Activity Center Lobby, cash or check only. If you miss the pre-sale, check the CAA website at charbonneauarts.org to order your tickets. Tickets purchased in advance are $15, and $20 at the door.
Watch for details on all the events scheduled for the festival, including performances by well-known musicians in the Pavilion, and art demonstrations in the Wilson Room (classroom).
